Martial Arts A La Carte

Allen Alvarez leads an all-ages martial arts class!

The style is specific to self defense and counter attack situations (not "ring" fighting or competition.)

Class are held on Thursday evenings, at 6 pm. We meet at Pinkpeas; 2101 S. Decatur, suite 12 (in the Trader Joe's shopping center near Sahara & Decatur).

This is NOT a drop-off event; a parent is required to stay on the premises for the entirety of the class (don't worry; there's plenty of chairs, books, and conversation--you may even bring food if you like).  Better yet, participate with your child!

Wear loose-fitting, modest clothing.  For girls, please make sure they are able to tuck in their shirt or otherwise be prepared to be somewhat inverted.  Shoes are optional.

Allen would like to begin the class with all ages and abilities, and see which direction to go from there.  The minimum age advised is 6 years old--possibly a 5-year-old with a good attention span.  There is no maximum age--bring your grandma!
