Prenatal Care - Centering Pregnancy Groups

  

We are very pleased to be able to offer group prenatal care and pregnancy information and support to any pregnant woman, whether you plan to have your baby at home or in the hospital. Any pregnant women and her family and support persons are welcome to participate in our Groups. Centering Pregnancy is a fabulous way to get prenatal care, information about pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding, and the support of women who are where you are, facilitated by women who have been there!

 

The cost of prenatal care and Centering Pregnancy Groups is a one time fee of $400. This includes all of your Groups and materials, complete prenatal care for “healthy and low risk” pregnant women and their babies, and follow-up care for mom and baby for the first year after birth. This fee does not include the fee you will need to pay your midwife or doctor, nor does it include lab fees, ultrasounds, additional childbirth education classes, doula services, labor tub rentals, etc. We are happy to help you access these services if you should need or desire them. Centering Pregnancy is complete prenatal care for “healthy and low risk” pregnant women, as well as a supplement to pregnant women who have special concerns and are working with “high risk” pregnancy care providers.

A few notes about Groups:

 

You are expected to attend every group meeting, and to arrive on time. 

 

A few notes about children: You are welcome to bring your children, but you should bring quiet activities and non-messy snacks so that you can keep your children near you, quiet and happy, while you attend your group. If your children would be happier in another environment, we expect you to make other arrangements for them. 

 

Please bring only water to drink for yourself and your children.
